We present to you a 2002 Morgan Plus 8, representative of one of the final evolutions of this iconic model powered by the Rover V8, a characterful engine par excellence, and still built using the traditional artisanal methods cherished by the marque.
A particularly rare option on this model, this example features a narrow-bodied coachwork, a factory-specified configuration available to order. It is dressed in an elegant Burgundy shade, a deep burgundy with tones ranging between dark red and brown, subtly highlighting the classic, timeless lines of the bodywork. This colour harmonises with the beige leather upholstery as well as the numerous stainless and chrome elements, reinforcing the vehicle's visual balance while respecting the Plus 8’s original spirit.
The exterior preserves a presentation faithful to the model’s identity, with a chromed grille, shell-shaped wing lamps, and front headlights protected by grilles, mounted directly to the light units. You’ll also find stainless steel bumper guards at the front and rear, as well as round chromed exterior mirrors, perfectly integrated into the overall line.
The solid wheels, a signature of the Plus 8, are painted to match the body colour and complemented by a matching spare wheel. The rear additionally features a chromed luggage rack as well as a twin stainless-steel exhaust outlet.
The interior pairs beige leather upholstery with a brown leather-clad dashboard, in an elegant and cohesive presentation. The two-tone headrests have a front face matching the upholstery and a rear face painted in the car’s exterior colour. The dashboard incorporates a complete and fully functional instrument cluster, accompanied by aviation-style push-buttons, laid out clearly and ergonomically.
The wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel, the gear lever with a wooden knob, and the manual gearbox all contribute to the authentic and engaging driving experience that is characteristic of the Morgan Plus 8. The vehicle is also equipped with heating and retains its original interior elements.
This Morgan is supplied with its French service book, as well as a complete history of invoices and documents tracing its maintenance from 2002 to the present day.
