I have owned this car for over 10 years now and my wife and I have taken her to many places a. o. the Champagne, Cornwall, Wales, the New Forest etc without missing a beat.
The car is a joy to drive with great road manners.
She has just undergone an extensive brake overhaul + sundry works to include a service by an AM specialist costing 9K and also an engine & carbs tune (3 Webers) by a carbs specialist.
All the dash lights work and the clock works as well, so do the electric windows.
During my ownership, I had a new Sundym windscreen installed, also new stainless steel wire wheels with new correct (but expensive) Pirelli tyres fitted and all the electrics checked and sorted.
She had previously been extensively restored and upgraded to a 4-speed auto gearbox replacing its rather sluggish Borg Warner 65 3-speed box (which comes with the car if desired).
Now in its 55th year of existence, she is an absolute joy to drive, gets attention wherever it goes and is ready for the next chapter of its life in the hands of a new custodian.
With an estimated 400 examples still in existence, these are much rarer than a DB5 !
Viewings by appointment only in Smarden near Ashford, Kent.
