This Mk2. 5 has the 1800cc VVTI engine with 149bhp and the condition of this vehicle is remarkable. If you are looking for a Mk2/ 2. 5/ NB then you will know that most of them are deteriorating rapidly and this one is immaculate. You will not find any rust or corrosion on any of this car anywhere. All the wheel arches, chassis rails and vulnerable areas are pristine and behind the wheel arch liners and bumpers have been coated with lanoguard. Behind was factory fresh with zero corrosion.
This car was dry stored off the road for 8 years of its life within a collection of several MX5s and it has only ever been stored indoors in optimal conditions. For the last 12 years the car has only been outdoors overnight during a one week trip to Scotland. Full Mazda servicing prior to being placed in storage. Comprehensive servicing of all service components for the past 4 years including stainless braided brake lines and new genuine Mazda rear calipers. Paint work is non faded and has never been machine polished, the light fittings are clear and have never required polishing. The roof is the original one and in good condition. The car is covered within a dehumidified garage and I even have UV reflective film on the garage window.
There is one small dink on the drivers door which has been touched in, other than that the car is pristine and this could be rectified easily. The front bumper and both front and rear wheel arches have been removed and coated behind with lanoguard. The panels behind the plastic liners were absolutely clean like a brand new car. You will not find a better example.
