Current Condition (Honest Notes)
-The bike is a non-runner at present.
-Some chrome has become pitted/ lifting during storage (see pics).
-Paint chip visible on the petrol tank.
-No MOT.
Given its current state, it is priced far below its true show-bike value. In its original condition, this machine would comfortably be valued at £25, 000+.
Viewings welcome. Cash or BACS only. No swaps. Collection from Littleport, Cambridgeshire. The Mantis is an award-winning show bike that even earned a place in the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building.
This machine was never intended as a practical daily rider—it was built as a rolling work of art, to showcase the builder’s creativity, metalwork, and engineering. Almost every part has been fabricated, modified, or detailed to be visually striking rather than purely functional. The result is an unmistakable, crowd-pulling centrepiece that has been displayed at shows across Europe.
The bike is currently a non-runner, though it has run in the past (see photos). It was built entirely from new parts when first created, with countless hours of design, fabrication, and finishing. Today it would make a perfect project for someone who wants to recommission it mechanically, or alternatively, it stands on its own as a piece of sculptural art—a showstopper in any garage, collection, or venue.
It comes complete with original concept art drawing, and a USB stick containing professional studio photography from its original show condition.
