Harley Davison ex army motor cycle
350 cc Rotax engine. Purchased 31/ 03/ 2011.
The bike has undergone a large amount of maintenance.
New tyres
New carburettor
Battery
Oil and filters
Engine overhaul
New seat cover
Petrol tank
Paintwork, some areas have been re sprayed but the bike has largely left in an oily rag condition.
The bike is in remarkably good condition considering it was used by the army as a Red Cross vehicle.
Panniers have very slight wear.
A full army issue tool kit is in the purpose made small pannier.
The bike has been used only a few times as it is part of a collection.
Starts and rides well.
The main frame and struts have been resprayed.
The engine has partially been resprayed.
The handlebar grips are new and the rubbers to the controls and forks are in very good condition.
However the hand protectors show signs of scrapes.
The bike was recommissioned before MOT.
This bike still has its existing factory fitted exhaust which is rare.
All in all the bike presents well.
These bike were sold in thousands, but over the years many have been scrapped, this one is above average condition.
