Description
ONE LADY OWNER FROM NEW AND KEPT COVERED IN A HEATED GARAGE
Fiat Spider pininfarina 2 litre carburettor model. Amazing original condition.
Paintwork is immaculate and largely original. No rust. Some minimal paintwork was undertaken to repair very minor cosmetic damage sustained in the container during transit.
Interior is in similar excellent condition.
Even the hood is original and showing very minor signs of age.
Mechanically regularly maintained and the 2 litre Lampredi engine pulls well with strong acceleration. The 5 speed gearbox is slick and accurate. One lady owner and kept in a heated garage. This is normally sales blurb but in this case it is perfectly true. Bought new in America in 1979 and returned to the UK with the owner in 2001 and has only done 7, 500 miles since. Subsequently garaged under a cover on a trickle charger and used very sparingly. Now registered as a historic vehicle.
These Spiders are a rare sight, particularly in this condition. It is a dream to drive either on the open road or around the narrow lanes of Devon where the LHD is particularly useful. Sadly for sale due to the owner's orthopaedic surgery.
