Hercules MK3 M – 1972 Classic Mopeds
For sale is an original Hercules MK3 M moped from 1972 – a genuine classic and a sought-after collector’s item among vintage two-wheelers. The vehicle features a 3-speed foot-operated gearbox, starts easily with a kickstarter, and is roadworthy. The electrical system is functional. The last insurance coverage was in 2007.
The moped was professionally repainted a few years ago – the tank and side panels are in fresh condition. However, stickers from the successor MK4 model were applied, for reasons unknown to me. Overall, the machine is in good vintage condition with patina, but without any major defects.
A piece of 1970s youth culture: back then the MK3 M was the dream for many youngsters but remained out of reach due to its high price. Today, well-preserved examples are rare – not only because of limited production but also due to steady value appreciation.
The original operating permit is included. Additionally, I’ll provide 0. 5 litres of Aral SAE 80 gear oil for the recommended oil change – the capacity is 0. 3 litres.
