I have decided to sell my Austin 7 ruby. I have owned it for about 20 years and never really used it. The engine was a bit noisy so I changed it for a better one. I’ve still got the original engine to go with the car. I used it as a wedding car about 14 years ago and then the odd local show.
It runs and drives but needs recommissioning. It isn’t charging and the fuel pump is intermittent. All the lights work and brakes etc. I replaced the tyres 15 years ago.
Interior is very original and has a lovely age to it. I think it still has the original floor mats etc. body work is very solid but the paint is tatty.
I have the original buff log book, a couple of later log books and a couple of receipts. I bought a new battery last week to get it running.
