A fun car that drives beautifully. Tight responsive steering and that "Go Kart" experience Mini's are known for. Now a modern classic.
The car has general wear and tear relative to it's age. I have been its careful owner for the past 15 years.

- Continental and Hankook run flat tyres. The Hankook tyres have driven approximatly 5, 000 miles.
Recent work carried out over the past 5 years includes:
- Exhaust hanger bushes replaced in November 2025.
- New alternator and auxiliary drive belt fitted in March 2025.
- Rear exhaust mounts replaced in February 2025.
- Fuel tank scuring bracket replaced in January 2025.
- 2 New Tyres fitted in February 2024.
- New Power Steering pump fitted in November 2023.
- Transmission oil and filter change in November 2023 at BMR Performance.
- New and upgraded Mini rear wiper motor fitted October 2022.
- New front suspension bushes fitted in October 2020.
- Front brake hoses replaced in January 2020.
All work was carried out at reputable garages, if not at a main dealer.
Areas to note:
- The CD changer is not currently playing - It has done this a few times over recent years and sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t.
- Electric lock on the driver’s door not unlocking with button on the remote key. It can be opened and locked with the key manually.
- A small patch of clear lacquer has come off the passenger door (see photos).
- A spot of rust on the boot (common on the first generation Mini).
- Headliner needs attention.
- Rubber has perished on key fob buttons.
- A few small chips on the windscreen.
- A few bumps and scratches on the bodywork and trims, consistent with the car’s age.
- The interior is in good condition but has some light wear and tear.
- There is white paint splatter on the side of the car - this can probably be cleaned off by someone with better knowledge than me.
- Small bit of rust on front wiper blade arm.
This is a 22 year old car which is in good condition commensurate with its age. I have always loved Minis and saved up to buy my first one (this one!), 15 years ago. The car has never let me down and has been an absolute joy to drive. It handles really well and is very reliable. Being the first generation of the new style Mini, it still has the Mini feel and look to it. The car is in the best colour combination (British Racing Green and black roof) in my opinion, and it always receives compliments due to the classic look it gives the car.
