A very, very rare Glas classic car, not obtainable anymore, and in this condition even more so! There are still a few battered 1204 TS, but top 1304 TS not at all anymore!
This car is superbly restored and has been upgraded with contemporary tuning accessories, visually as well as technically. With a lot of handwork and special-made parts as you can see, without worrying about costs!!!
With its stock 85 HP at the time, it was already the wolf in sheep's clothing. I used to win many trophies with it in slalom, hill climb, airfield sprint and circuit racing! This engine has plenty of power and the modifications are simply a lot of fun! To name a few:
2 Weber twin carburettors, diameter 40 mm,
engine rebuilt and totally fresh, plus head work,
sharp camshaft, yet great idle speed as stock!
carburettor optimization with intake trumpets of different lengths,
larger inlet and exhaust valves,
hand-made header,
new stainless steel exhaust system absorbers with plenty of throughput and sound!
compression ratio increase,
transistor ignition with new 1-2-3 distributor,
wheel set 6 x 13 with 175/ 70-13 or 185/ 70-13 and semi-slicks!
etc, etc, etc.
With the Glas 1304 TS you can race on the track or also go for bread rolls. It is fully everyday usable in every respect!
It is sold only to a true enthusiast who knows how to appreciate the car! In Glas I invested a lot and the result is simply amazing!
ATTENTION: The new motor has only covered 460 KM and still needs breaking in!!!
I am selling my collection of rare and exclusive vehicles only for age (78) and health reasons. He was the GTI of the sixties in 1966! It ran with its 85 HP back then at 170 KM/ h! Only connoisseurs gave way on the motorway. It is well manageable on race tracks, short wheelbase, power and a light weight! It was greatly underestimated. There was no factory rust prevention, and over the years the 1204 and 1304TS unfortunately decayed!
