Description
Just a little background history regarding the Escort 1. 8 Ghia Cabriolet P181 ACU.
The main owner for 24 years was an engineer, and kept the car in a heated garage. He sadly passed away. His son inherited the car, and he abided by DVLA rules and transferred it into his name accordingly. He had no interest in older cars, so I informed a friend of mine, and he bought it. He sourced the original registration number from new through DVLA, and reinstated it, removing the awful Irish plate. (MJI 7706) He even got a tax disc from the era before they ceased which is on the screen. The original 3 Ford keys including the important red item. The original book pack is present, including stamped early history booklet. A very original well cared for example with later style Ford period alloy wheels.
My friend Chris intended to keep it, but his circumstances have changed. So he drove down from East Kilbride to myself, so I can factor the sale down here. All paperwork and documentation present. The first image is at his local Ford dealer, the second at his home.
As the Ford range has surged in value, the later original cars like this can only go one way.
