Description

For sale is my 2010 E92 BMW 325D LCI with the N57 Engine and 6HP28 gearbox - the same as a 330D, but with cheaper tax and insurance!

I bought the car fairly recently for my daily commute, however events worked out differently and I now work from home full time, with a company car when required - thus deeming the BMW surplus to requirements.

It's a higher mileage example, but it has been meticulously maintained, and I personally know the previous owner who had the car for many years, and it was serviced every 5, 000 miles or sooner, without fail - not the 17, 000 miles BMW recommended in their wisdom. I prefer to buy a well looked after higher mileage car, which has had the preventative and scheduled maintenance carried out already.

Some of the key information is listed below:

- 2010 LCI M sport model with flappy paddles
- Timing Chain and oil cooler replaced at approximately 160k miles, with receipt for over £1700.
- Tuned in 2021 by Glen at GKR Performance BMW specialists (Stage 2, running approx 320bhp/ 720NM)
- Stage 3 XHP gearbox map - ZF gearbox service also carried out to include new oil and mechatronic sleeves.
- Recent MOT passed, and advisories rectified at the price of £500+ (receipted - BMWizard) plus a fresh wheel alignment after the suspension work, as well as the rear differential oil changed as a preventative measure with OEM oil.
- All 4 tyres are Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric F1s with plenty of tread - no cheap ditch finders here!
- Suspension has been refreshed to include new arms, shocks, springs and tie rods.
- Recent glow plug and module replacement (OEM parts).
- EGR, Swirl flaps & DPF have been "solutionised" as well as a 3. 5" downpipe added in.
- Apple car play retro fit.
- New MAF (OEM), Rocker cover gasket, injector seals, oil filter housing and AGM battery installed recently.

In my ownership I have:

- Carried out an Oil and filter service (couple of hundred miles ago).
- Changed the air filter, cabin filter, and windscreen wipers.
- Deep cleaned the car thoroughly (seats out), leather and plastics all cleaned and conditioned.
- Replaced a defective passenger side headlight and a rear tail light with a replacement unit (used OEM) - also polished headlights and sealed.
- Replaced a defective drivers side seatbelt butler mechanism - the seatbelt is now handed to you on entry to the car, as expected.
- Treated any stone chips with Hammerite rust converter, and touched up with the correct Alpine White III paint.
- Sourced new wheel centre caps and "M" wheel stickers.
- Removed number plates, cleaned behind and re-attached with new fastenings (I'm a bit OCD, as you can probably tell at this point in the ad!).
- Re-shelled the original key - makes it look more presentable.
- Replaced the auxiliary belt for peace of mind (OEM part).
- Thoroughly cleaned and de-contaminated the car and engine bay (although doesn't look like it in this weather...)

I'm sure there's some things I've forgotten, but overall it's a really well looked after car, maintained correctly and on time. There are no untoward noises or smoke, and the engine and gearbox are silky smooth - a testament to it's history.

There are no leaks and nothing required electrically or mechanically (feel free to scan for fault codes) - jump in and drive away. The A/ C is not cold - the previous owner stated it needs a re-gas, but I can't confirm this, it would have been a job for after the winter.

Cosmetically there are a few loading scratches and a ding on the rear bumper where it looks like someone has caught a post or alike (see photos - bottom left of bumper). There are stone chips to the front of the car (touched in as above) but overall nothing to write home about or unexpected for a car of this age and mileage.

I have a decent amount of paperwork and receipts for all major work listed above (most importantly the chain), 2 fully working keys, BMW book pack and a full V5 in my name.

I won't entertain group viewings, and more than happy for people to test drive with proof of insurance, otherwise I'll be driving.

No finance on the vehicle, no crash damage and not an import.

Any questions please do ask.

Many thanks for reading.
