First-generation Big Healey, our car was delivered brand new in January 1960. The Austin Healey BN7 model, 2-seat version, is rare because it was built for just 2 years and produced in only 2, 800 examples.
This car has been fully restored. First, a complete refurbishment of the bodywork and trim was carried out between 2015 and 2016. Then, in 2021, the mechanical work: the engine and gearbox were rebuilt by a specialist. From an aesthetic point of view, this car is superb; its two-tone “red & black” colour pairs perfectly with its red upholstery with black piping, which is in excellent condition and “matching colours”. Its “matching number” engine, as confirmed by the British Motor Heritage, has been fully rebuilt and runs on unleaded petrol. The road test we carried out confirmed the quality of the work carried out on this car, with a very good overall balance; the car also has electronic ignition. We also have a substantial folder of invoices.
