This Cooper is equipped with its original 998cc engine, with the engine numbers having been verified. Fed by two SU HS2 carburettors, this four-cylinder develops 56 horsepower and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Our car also retains its Hydrolastic suspension—a defining technical feature of Coopers from this era—developed by Alex Moulton. Well known to discerning enthusiasts today, this particularity fully contributes to the car’s authenticity and appeal.
