Description
Aston Martin DB4 Series V Vantage SS- a rare, matching numbers highly desirable example with known Cornwall history, Documented ownership, and recent recommissioning to MOT standard. This is an opportunity to acquire an iconic Newport Pagnell-built Grand Tourer with Touring Superleggera coachwork and the uprated Vantage specification.
The Aston Martin DB4 Vantage Series V SS represents the final evolution of the DB4 line before the debut of the DB5. The Series V cars received subtle styling and chassis updates, including the longer body and faired-in headlights, and they are widely regarded as the most refined DB4s.
The 'Vantage' specification provided performance upgrades to the 3. 7-litre straight-six, and 'SS' refers to the Superleggera construction by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan - lightweight aluminium panels over a tubular frame. Only a limited number of DB4s left the factory in this configuration, making genuine Series V Vantage SS cars extremely sought after among collectors.

then stored indoors long term. After more than 20 years in dry storage, it was rebuilt by a
small specialist dealership in Cornwall and completed in 1991
