1991 rover mini Cooper with S conversion.
Very rare car being early carburettor car converted by John Cooper garages. to there S package.
Giving 78 bhp.
Been of the road for many years and not on mot database. showing 49000 miles beloved correct.
I purchased from deceased estate. Very little paperwork. I applied for v5 so in my name. i have purchased a replacement conversion plate. and brochure and price list from 1991.
Everything appears correct. holes in floor next to seat where plate goes oil cooler. twin carbs with warning sticker! on correct air filter box. janspeed exhaust. Not fitted. lcb manifold. S conversion side decals. engine no matches v5. chassis plate all original and numbers match along with stamping on body.
This mini has had a lot done. new full sills, A panels, wings, windscreen bottom corners, boot floor, new rear subframe. replacement boot, better doors new skins, door gaps very good. seats very good, green clocks, I have original doors still all built up.
Car was sadly pulled from body shop due to berevement.
Needs final prep and painting to body. and whatever mechanical work needed.
No it doesn't run.
Fantastic project couple bits missing. rear lights bumper and grill.
I will miss this if it goes but struggling for room and just too much stuff.
Worth easily North of 12k when done proberbly 15kplus.
So a project that's worth doing.
