NSU Supermax 250cc, project.
Registered 1960 .
First reg in the UK 1960 .
On an A suffix.
V5c in my name, on a sorn.
NSU were quality machines with extensive competition history.
This is a project bike, not run for a long time until -
I rigged up a temporary fuel supply and battery and the bike fired up for around a minute, the carb flooded and then ran out of fuel, engine was quiet mechanically.
A very original bike with decent paintwork. older stalled restoration.
New spokes, original refinished rims with indents, new gaskets are evident on the engine.
Some parts needed please look carefully at the photos, some wiring needed and a general check over and service.
Or could be a Sportmax racing replica ?
Tool and battery boxes with mounting brackets and rear mudguard section included in the sale.
Just to be crystal clear - the bike is a project and will need some mechanical ability to complete.
