This car is in good condition for its age, both mechanically and cosmetically. It has clearly been looked after throughout its life and has never been neglected. it comes with full service history.
The interior is in good condition, clean and well presented with minimal wear. Some bolster wear on the drivers seat but as to be expected, carpets, dash, and controls are all in good order. Everything functions exactly as it should.
Externally, the car presents well. The bodywork is straight, paintwork is clean with the odd stone ship again as to be expected for 22 year old car, and importantly there is absolutely no rust where it matters, including on the rear arches, which are a common problem area on these cars. the underside again is very clean, its never been welded however the boot floor is showing a bit of corrosion as can happen with these cars.
Mechanically, the car drives exactly as an S2000 should. The engine pulls strongly, revs cleanly, and sounds fantastic. Gearbox is smooth and precise, and the suspension is tight with no knocks or issues. It’s a very engaging car to drive.
The GT specification adds extra comfort and usability, and the hardtop is a valuable addition, making the car ideal for year-round use as well as helping to preserve the interior.
Soft top is showing signs of age and has some holes, could do with being repalced in time.
This is a genuine, honest example of an S2000 that’s becoming harder to find in this condition, best price currently for a facelift, especially with no serious rust, unmodified and a full service history.
