Description
Audi 80 S2 Quattro first registered 26-01-1995
I have owned this car for the past 6 years. Since my ownership it has only covered 3274 miles. It has always been stored and garaged and only been used during the dryer months of the year.
I purchased the car with full service and have continued to maintain the car to that high level. There is a complete file of all receipts and MOT's dating back to its first service.
The last full service was carried out 7th May 2025. The MOT dated 19th Jan 2024 indicated a fail, which was a rear fog light not working, which was rectified within days. On the same MOT certificate Jan 2024 there was a list of advisories. I could have ignored these, however, during 2024 and up to Dec 2024 the car went to a specialist garage where all the advisories and more were completely replaced with new parts. There is a full list of all the work carried out. It has also fitted with a full stainless steel exhaust, specialist made.
Furthermore, and because of all of the work carried out, I also had the underneath completely specialist waxed to ensure the car and all the underneath is good for another 20 years.
I am a mature owner and I have deliberately not in any way modified or changed the originality of the car. I have continued to use the car for weekend drives and it never disappoints.
The interior is in very good condition, no rips, or cuts. only light normal ware. The exterior is all original with no dents or scratches. There is only one small area of rust which is just below the rear window wiper, (shown in picture)
Reason for sale, my wife and I are emigrating and retiring to live with our daughter in Australia and the car will not be required.
Vehicle registered: 26/ 01/ 1995I brought the car because I have always loved the Audi RS2 & S2 Avant and always wanted to own one from my younger days. I have always loved the Audi Quarto particularly when they became very popular during that rally period. I particularly appreciated the development & technology shared between Porsche & Audi during this period. Furthermore, the very distinctive sound and performance from the 5 cylinder engine is very attractive and offers a great memorable driving experience. The 6 speed manual is an absolute pleasure to drive. It is without doubt a future classic and whenever I drive it and park up for a coffee, it attracts a load of attention from both old and younger car enthusiasts.
