Description
This very original, matching numbers Series D Black Knight was manufactured in 1955 and first registered on 10/ 07/ 1956.
Present owner purchased the bike in 2005 from a museum in France and currently the bike is registered on French plates (FB-542-XK) The bike was registered and used in the UK for some time and then returned to France in 2013. However, the bike is still on the DVLA system as a Vincent (SYL 224) on sorn, so the V5C could hopefully be applied for by the new owner, if the machine is to stay in the UK.
Has just been through our workshop for light recommission including new battery. Starts and runs, but will need further work before being ready for the road, e. g. tyres.
This Black Knight also comes with its own single wheel trailer and hitch (easily removed) evidence of its previous history as a genuine touring machine.
