Really nice example of the Maserati Sebring Series One
Manufactured in July 1963, delivered to a French Maserati enthusiast who ordered it with the very desirable Borrani wire wheels and Limited Slip Differential.
The Maserati certificate and copy of original order confirm this, as well as the Amaranto Roma (dark red) body color with black Connolly hide, a very elegant and distinctive combination.
This model is fitted with the ZF 5 speed gearbox, and now runs on 3 Weber carburetors for ease of use and reliability.
The original fuel injection system, completely refurbished a few years ago, comes with the car.
The car is also one of the very few Sebring Series One (believed 5 cars out of a total of about 350) to benefit of a 3. 7 engine instead of the 3. 5.
The car has been fully restored over a 10 year period, with full body, chassis and mechanic gone through at huge cost, all invoices and pictures available to show. No corners cut !
Chassis and underneath components, suspensions, rear axle... have been cleaned, "shot" blasted and powder coated when possible, repainted otherwise
Engine, clutch and brakes system fully rebuilt
Suspensions done will all new parts, shocks, bushes...
Borrani wheels refurbished, new tires
Full repaint in original dark red
All body seals renewed
New stainless steel bumpers and chrome trim all around
Full interior retrim

Although not concourse, the car is in really nice condition without any rust.
Runs great, done a few hundred km recently.
Car is registered in France, and has recent and valid French "controle technique"
