BMW Individual Ruby Black – Individual Merino Interior – Fully Sorted Example
I’m selling my M5, finished in BMW Individual Ruby Black Metallic with a factory-specified BMW Individual extended Merino leather interior in Silverstone/ Black. This is a rare and beautifully specified car that I bought as a nostalgic purchase, having owned an E60 M5 previously.
The car reminded me very quickly why these are such special machines. However, I’ve since realised that my current plans which would involve track use, that this particular example is simply too well-sorted, original, and rare to be used in that way. It deserves to be enjoyed as a road car or as part of a collection, rather than subjected to harsh conditions.
Condition
For its age, the car presents exceptionally well. The paintwork benefits from a professional three-stage machine polish and Gyeon ceramic coating applied to the paintwork, wheels, and glass, giving excellent depth and gloss throughout. The wheels have been refurbished to OEM specification and are fitted with recently installed Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. OEM discs and pads have recently been changed on each corner along with new OEM wheel nuts and locking nuts.
The BMW Individual extended Merino leather interior is a real highlight and remains in excellent condition, with only light, age-appropriate wear. All interior features and electrical functions operate exactly as they should. The steering wheel has been professionally retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels and presents as new.
Mechanically, the car drives exactly as an E60 M5 should. The V10 pulls strongly, the SMG III gearbox operates correctly in all modes, and the car starts cleanly from cold with no warning lights present. It feels tbight, composed, and properly sorted.
Redish Motorsport Preventative Maintenance (Fully Invoiced)
The car has benefitted from extensive preventative maintenance carried out by Redish Motorsport, widely regarded as the UK authority on the E60 M5 platform. All known weak points have been addressed, and the work is fully invoiced and supported by an extensive photographic record (circa 100 images).
