The restoration was completed in 1980 with her maiden voyage being a 1200km plus round trip to Canberra for a national rally with which it performed faultlessly. Fitted with an all original body and running gear. It was found in derelict condition on a Victorian farm in 1960, it had been converted to a utility at some stage in its life and the original rear tub section was found being used as a canopy over a forge but was able to be salvaged and used in the restoration with some sections requiring replacement, the only other metal work that was needed to be replaced were the valances.
The car when found was still Left Hand Drive but it was decided that the conversion to RHD would make it safer to drive on Australian roads and easier to register at the time.
This car presents very well in a beautiful dark Port Wine paint with Beige interior even with some wear and tear from many cross country travels that it has performed faultlessly over the years, it is a very reliable car that never fails to perform
