Here we are delighted to present “Arnie” the Arnage to market. The perfect use and improve Bentley.
Arnie has been a pleasure to own and has carried me personally over thousands of miles. He is super comfortable, very quick and most importantly has been nothing but ultra reliable.
Boasting the rarer 4. 4 twin turbo BMW/ Cosworth V8 this car is better on fuel, much more robust and distinctly easier to work on than its 6. 75L counterpart. Also stops and handles better. However what more can be expected for a car with the engine it was designed for.
Arnie has more provenance than most too, he was built prior to VW’s involvement in Bentley/ Rolls Royce thusly making him one of the last truly British built Bentleys.
Arnie has had parking aids fitted as well as a more modern multimedia unit. They both work well but personally was planning on removing them. I feel this is a decision for the next owner.
Arnie’s paintwork could do with some love, namely the rear quarter and arches. It wouldn’t be a lot for a body shop and I had it planned however other projects are due in first.
The interior has faired extremely well for a car of this age with only a few trim items requiring attention, also the drivers seat switch is faulty. The ECU has been tested and is good so a nice easy fix.
The underside of Arnie is remarkably solid, never having been welded and not needing any either. Pictures of the underside can be arranged for interested parties.
Happy to answer any questions regarding Arnie, will be sad to see him go but alas it’s time for someone else to get the pleasure that comes with such an amazing car. Overall a perfect use and improve Bentley with incredibly good bones but room for the owner to tinker.
