The Appeal
The original Continental GT was hugely popular, so finding one is not your challenge. Finding a good one is, namely, one in the right specification and with clear evidence of maintenance by the right people.
Step forward this very smart Tempest Silver 2005 car. It was factory-fitted with the elevated Mulliner Driving Specification, which brings diamond-quilted leather, bespoke piano-black veneers, alloy pedals, and those purposeful 20in seven-spoke alloys.
The car’s mileage shows that it’s been used and enjoyed, rather than merely stored, which generally bodes well in terms of reliability and maintenance. The service book shows a run of regular attention up to just prior to sale, when it was attended to by Ghost Motor Works. In 2024, it went to a specialist Chelsea Workshop for over £10,000 of work, including engine-out repairs and attention to the suspension.
Further reassurance is provided by the current MOT, which runs to December 2026. Here is a chance to capitalise on the investment by the previous keepers.
