Description
Current owner (only 2nd owner), this car has undergone a nut & bolt rebuild (2014/ 15) using all heritage parts and maintaining originality. Total spend in excess of £40k with specialist mini restorers Caburn Classics which included a full engine rebuild to original spec by '998 Tony'; the formost authority on the 'A' Series. Under 50k miles since new verified. Always garaged and cherished by a mini enthusiast, this car has been my pride and joy for more than 38 years. Factory fitted bucket seats, Cooper S reverse rims (5) with Yokohama's, brake servo, new loom + + +. Car known since new (one previous lady owner), original invoice, MOT certs, heaps of original documents (incl. log book), brochures and original sales info including manuals (workshop and operating), and all receipts for work done by Caburn of which can be validated. I doubt there is another 2 owner car of this type available.
"I wanted to keep the car as original as possible without compromising the history of them mini or the enjoyment they give to the driver"The good thing about the iconic mini is they are cheap to run and maintain, parts are numerous and they have always been the cornerstone of British motoring. This car, my 5th Cooper, was a project I alwaysd wanted to do and to bring the fun back into motoring. Everyone knows the mini but sadly the good ones are rare.
