- Megane R26r head lightsI purchased this car having previously owned various hot hatches over the years, a 306 Rallye, a 172 track day car, a Clio 197 F1 R27 and then upgrading to this Megane. It’s a fantastic car which gets lots of attention at cars&coffee mornings with fewer Meganes of this era around, always getting comments of how rare they are and no longer seeing these around. It’s a very nice spec car with all the right bits done to make it enjoyable both on the road and on track, I’ve done one evening track day in the car at brands hatch last summer and it was faultless all evening and a joy to drive around the track in, and enough of the comforts inside for road use with CarPlay, working AC, cruise control etc.
