The Renault Megane R26 was collared as one of the best handling hot hatches of its generation with a fantastic chassis, so it makes an ideal car to convert for racing use. This particular R26 has been campaigned and developed in Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship for many years achieving some fantastic results as a front running car on a competitive grid. This car runs a built 450BHP engine and received a ground up rebuild last season, running consistent 1:12’s at Castle Combe with its current driver. The car received a full service after its last race meeting. With the owner moving to a Mini Cooper S platform the car is surplus to requirements. Legal for use in many UK series and would be competitive in the right hands.
