Description

Genuine UK RHD car
Fully restored from the ground up and tastefully modified along the way. This is the most driveable TR6 you will find but still retaining its original DNA and charm. The TR6 that Triumph should have developed!
Rebuild outlined below. Only done some 2000 miles since restoration completed.
CHASSIS -
Shot lasted and strengthened in usual places particularly around Diff
Epoxy undercoat and topcoat
Fully Waxoyled

BODYWORK -
Body off for repaint
No rust repairs required (from previous restoration)
All body panels removed, shell painted all body panels replaced and car painted whole.
Satin black 1/ 4 bumpers for rally look
Old chrome bumpers still available if want to return to standard look. They would need a refurb though to match rest of car.
All cavities waxoyled
Stone chip and hard wax underside
Gas rams to aid with lifting bonnet and boot lid

FRONT SUSPENSION -
New and uprated springs with adjustable shox
New uprights
New big bearing alloy hubs by Classic driving Developments
Uprated anti roll bar
All new poly bushes and fixings

REAR SUSPENSIOIN -
Coil over adjustable shock absorbers
Uprated rear springs. All poly bushed with new fixings

STEERING -
power steering kit by Classic Driving Developments fitted.

BRAKES -
Front - Four pot calipers with vented Discs by Fossway Performance. Uprated pads
Rear - completely new rebuilt with new drums, linings, fixings et cetera.

DRIVETRAIN -
Gearbox completely rebuilt with J type overdrive on third and fourth gears. O/ D switch on top of gearknob. New Laycock clutch
New propshaft with new UJ’s.
Gripper LSD by Jon Wood Classic Racecraft
Rear uprated driveshaft with CV joints by Classic Driving Developments.
Rear alloy Hubs by Classic Driving Developments.
Mini lite Alloys (6x15) and very good Yokohama Tyres.

ELECTRICS - complete new loom by Auto sparks modified as required for all interior and engine modifications.
All instruments refurbished or renewed. All with LED backlighting.
All LED headlights and rear lights

ENGINE -
Fully rebuilt and re-bored oversize engine by Jon Wood classic race craft. Much internal work and cylinder head work to make for a fast and reliable road car
Full Emerald EFI installation.
Jenvey throttle bodies with carbon fibre trumpets
3-2-1 exhaust with straight through single pipe.
Cooling dealt with by alloy radiator and oil cooler with spinoff conversion and oil thermostat. Electric automatic cooling fan.
Fuel supply from a newly fitted alloy tank is via stainless steel braid pipe lines

INTERIOIR -
full leather re-trim including dashboard. Black with red piping. Mazda MX5 seats. Roll over hoops (sturdy but aesthetic). All LED lighting to fully refurbished instruments. LED foot lights and puddle lights under the doors. Electric windows. Centre console containing electrics for USB points and phone charger. Central locking-controlled by AlarmThis car is so superior to drive compared to the original TR6. The performance from the fully rebuilt and semi race engine is amazing. The electronic fuel injection means that the car starts and ticks over like a modern car.
The all alloy cooling system means the car never overheats
The ECU can be dialled into to alter any settings required to suit your driving tastes, but the car has had an initial set up on the rolling road at Emerald

The steering and suspension modifications mean the car handles perfectly and is fantastically easy to steer and park due to the power steering.

The uprated brakes. stop the car as you would expect..

The tastefully modified interior feels luxurious but still retains the TR6 original charm. Small luxuries such as electric windows and central locking with all LED lighting make the driving experience so much more pleasurable.

In the flesh the car looks absolutely amazing in its glorious signal red paintwork and the semi rally look with black quarter bumpers and exposed oil cooler and radiator.
