Original UK car delivered in 1972 in Pimento Red, 150hp fuel injection CC model with overdrive I have owned this car for 20 years and am only selling rather sadly as I have purchased a Triumph Stag and won’t really use two classics – it’s meant to be driven Condition is excellent – bodywork, paint and mechanicals all very good with no significant flaws. Runs and drives beautifully. It comes with a very full history file from its first delivery service passport though a whole range of improvements that have been made. I purchased the car in January 2005 from a classic enthusiast and restorer. He had bought the car for his partner and had restored the bodywork to excellent condition and repainted it but as she didn’t us it much, he put it up for sale to fund new projects. In the 20 years I have owned the car it has had a wide range of improvements, mostly done by classic specialists Maidstone Sports Cars. These include (all invoices are in the history) – all new neoprene polyurethane bushes throughout, electronic ignition with magnecor leads, new stainless exhaust, new seats, reconditioned overdrive unit, H4 headlights and relays to name but some. The car has been serviced annually and has recently (last November) had a new set of tyres all round and a new wire spare wheel, plus a new Bosch type fuel pump and filter. It’s a great, reliable and honest car that I will be sad to see go. I will consider sensible offers. A great example of one of the best British sports cars
