Recent expenditure of over £4K including a new hood fitted by the highly respected Mark Chorley MK1 roof specialist along with a large stack of invoices for numerous important jobs carried out at no expense spared. Old MOT’s present warranting a rust-free life, not a single advisory of corrosion to the body, which is almost unheard of with MK1’s in all. Extremely tidy interior with very minimal if any signs of discernable use, An honest example in properly straight and well-kept condition, recently replaced matching Hankook tyres with newly refurbished correct factory two-tone Diamond cut alloys. Drives beautifully with no knocks or creaks the 1. 8 8V K Jet injection engine runs perfectly, smooth & responsive and pulling well through the gears. Gear selection is tight and crisp having had all the linkages done and gearbox overhauled along with a recently fitted new clutch. These are just a few of the long list of costly works carried out, all of which are needed on any MK1 Cab. 2 sets of original keys and complete with its original black Tonneau cover in fine condition and steering wheel. This was my boyhood dream car and I was lucky enough to get my hands on this example in 2021. Unfortunately, due to becoming a father I'm finding it difficult to find the time to enjoy it and I'd much rather it go onto someone who is going to love it as much as I have.
