This Citroën H Van is a true gem, one of the last of its kind from the original design that started back in 1947. Known in France as the "Nez de Couchon" (or "Pig Nose"), it’s got so much character and a classic charm that never goes out of style!
The van was purchased and registered in 2007. For years, it ran as a mobile flower business, spreading beauty everywhere it went, until 2024. I then bought it with the intention of converting it into a coffee and cakes van, but life had other plans—pregnancy and becoming a first-time mum have definitely taken over my time and energy!
It’s originally from Brittany, France, and it’s been such a reliable vehicle. Over time, I’ve added a few upgrades: power steering (a lifesaver for those narrow streets!), new seats, and even had a custom-made fuel pump fitted.
For its age, the body’s in pretty good shape. There’s a bit of rust on some panels, and it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint to really make it pop, but overall it’s holding up well! Inside, there’s some cupboard and panelling that could easily be taken out if you’ve got your own ideas for the interior.
It used to start and drive like a dream, but since it’s been sitting for a while, the starter motor's having some issues. Right now, it only starts when it’s bumped or pulled. But don’t worry—I’ve got a few videos of it running and driving, so you can hear how it sounds.
All the doors open and close smoothly, and the van is rock solid underneath, with no holes in the chassis—just waiting for the next adventure!
This van is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to set up a mobile food business, catering service, or even for events.
