Zum Verkauf steht meine Honda CM200T Twinstar aus dem Jahr 1982 (Zulassung: VEF 947Y). Ich habe sie im Februar 2024 als Projektbike bei Barkers Motorcycles in Boldon Colliery gekauft, habe aber bisher keine Gelegenheit gefunden, mit den Arbeiten zu beginnen.
Aktueller Zustand:
The bike is a non-runner and has not been started during my ownership. It appears to have been off the road since the 1990s and will require a full mechanical recommissioning before returning to the road.
Technischer Zustand:
Auch wenn es derzeit nicht läuft, klemmte der Motor NICHT fest. Ich kann ein Rundgang-Video bereitstellen, das zeigt, dass der Motor durchdrehbar ist. Das bildet eine sehr solide Grundlage für eine Restaurierung.
Teile & Vollständigkeit:
The bike is impressively complete and remains in its original factory configuration. The only major item missing is the original carburetor; however, a Chinese clone carb is included with the sale.
Bekannte Probleme:
Die vordere Bremse klebt/ bzw. festsitzt, wodurch das Vorderrad sich schwer drehen lässt, es lässt sich jedoch noch leicht drehen. Die Abholung erfordert einen Anhänger oder Transporter.
Unterlagen:
I have the original V5 logbook from the 1990s. It is not in my name, but it matches the bike's identification numbers. This CM200T is a time capsule from the early 80s. Finding a small-capacity Honda twin that hasn't been cut up or modified is becoming increasingly rare.

Survivor Aesthetic: The original Candy Blue paint and 80s graphics are still present and have a fantastic patina.
