First discussed by Ford in 1987 but not brought to production until 1990, this example represents the final iteration of the model, offering a more discreet and refined evolution of the legendary Cosworth marque.
EXTERIEUR
Finished in period correct and highly desirable FORD B3 Diamond White Paintwork, this 1992 Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth 4x4 presents exactly as Ford intended: understated, purposeful, and unmistakably Cosworth
The front end is defined by the Sapphire’s clean, aerodynamic nose, with the colour-coded RS bumper sitting straight and along with incorporating the original chip and crack free factory integrated front fog lamps. Original flush-fit rectangular headlights and clear indicators give a sharp, modern appearance, complemented by the RS grille carrying the blue Ford oval
The bonnet features the distinctive Sapphire RS Cosworth profile, subtly sculpted to hint at the performance beneath while retaining the discreet sleeper character that separates the Sapphire from earlier Cosworth models

The interior of this 1991 Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth 4x4 is a welcoming and impressively original environment that reflects careful ownership and sympathetic use. The cabin is fitted with its original black leather Recaro seats front and rear, a key Cosworth hallmark and increasingly difficult feature to find in such honest condition. The front Recaros show only minimal wear, with no rips or tears, and remain more than acceptable by any standard
Crucially, they still retain their tight, supportive bolsters, offering the correct Cosworth driving position and that unmistakable “hugged into the seat” feel that defines these cars. The rear seats are equally well presented, remaining in very good condition with clean leather and excellent overall structure, reinforcing the car’s unmolested and well-cared-for nature.
