Here we have part of my private collection a very rare and one off 1988 on a E plate Nissan Bluebird Executive I Turbo, the rarer saloon model finished in Artic White, in my collection since 2019, 1 registered owner and only 25k miles, with service history, Moted till February 2027.
The Executive Turbo is very rare as there are only a handful left especially in the Saloon model and this one is in totally factory original condition. Having 1 registered owner and 25k miles makes this one probably the lowest mileage Executive Turbo you will ever find, not even that this was the first Number 1 Executive rolled off the production line from the Nissan factory in Sunderland.
This car was originally purchased by Danny Cross back on 23. 04. 1988 from Dan Perkins Nissan dealership in Herts, sold by John Herman the General Branch Manager at the time, comes with warranty and after sales policy paperwork and even a Dan Perkins Nissan badge which was the No1 Nissan dealer in 1988, was on previous private plate DXI 29.
The Executive was sold to the owner of Burford Car Sales round the corner in Herts back in 2016 who added this to his personal collection along with 20 other classic cars. In 2019 we had a chance to purchase this from the owner of Burford Car Sales as he was downsizing his collection.
The Executive Turbo is top of the Bluebird range and comes standard with PAS, x4 EW, CL, EM, E/ Tilt & slide glass sunroof, Air conditioning, E/ Aerial, Factory fitted top of the range Blaupunkt Atlanta SQR 47 radio/ cassette player with premium sound system, Map reading lights, Factory tinted glass, Full factory fitted Executive bodykit, Genuine Nissan boot spoiler, Factory boost gauge, Electric suspension with 3 different settings, Unmarked full Brown leather interior including leather door cards with flood lights, Driver electric lumbar settings, Adjustable leather Turbo steering wheel, Leather gear knob, Leather handbrake and 15" cross spoke Executive alloy wheels.
The Engine is the factory standard 1809cc unit with a turbo charger pushing it to a respectable 135 bhp, attached to a 5 speed manual gearbox with smooth gear changes, being a such low mileage the Executive is mechanically 100% spot on, There is a service book with some stamps and there are some service invoices too together with some other work which were carried out including New brakes, Battery New Tyres and Ball joint together with a cambelt & water pump change at 23, 335 miles.
Bodywork and paintwork is totally mint as it just left the factory, it has the factory Executive decals and pin stripe when it was ordered from new,
The Executive Turbo is completely original and New from inside and out, Comes with Brown leather interior including Brown dashboard, matching Brown 4 Spoke steering wheel, Brown carpet and the unique Executive leather seats in Brown with matching door cards, the driver seat has electric lumbar adjustment which adjusts the back and side bolsters, The Executive is fitted with its factory fitted Blaupunkt auto reverse radio/ cassette player.
This Executive was featured at the NEC practical car show finals back in 2022. It has also been featured in the Retro Cars magazine issue 132 March/ April 2020.
We have here all the previous MOTs and even the road tax discs from new.
