Description
Here we have my Mazda MX5 MK2 Manual in British Racing Green, very low miles at just 58k with full service history – 15 stamps in service book! Last service late last year. TSW alloys with firestone tyres all round. Glass back soft top with heated rear screen in near mint condition. Nice chrome rear luggage rack fitted – simple to remove if desired. Central locking, electric windows which work smoothly, original factory CD/ radio etc. Logbook in my name, large folder of receipts and 2 keys. HPI clear with report available.
Bodywork on the car is great overall, I believe the prior owner had the sills and arches done, lower sill is solid metal and the car looks very clean and tidy with only the odd minor blemish. Black interior with heavy duty floor mats fitted which feel great, boot and engine bay are all very clean and tidy. Battery holds good charge, starts first time even when unused for weeks. Driving wise the car is an absolute joy, lots of power from the engine, revs freely, no nocks or noises from the suspension. I can see why many prefer the MK2 to the MK1 as they are just a more refined drive and so much more comfortable in day-to-day use.
I’m an MX5 owners club member and have been an MX5 enthusiast for many years. I purchased this car due to the extensive service record which shows that the car has been well looked after, seems like whenever the car needed something it was promptly taken care of. Only selling due to having too many cars at the moment and needing the space to renovate my driveway. I’d hate for it to sit in storage for the summer.
Overall a nice, low mileage example in arguably the best colour for a MK2, with a rare complete service record as well. Recently serviced so its ready to drive and enjoy and I’m sure the first person to view will buy.
Viewings and test drives welcomed, strictly no timewasters, if you are unsure about buying a MK2 or are just checking out cars, please don’t waste my time or your own. Any questions please just ask!
