1971 reg, 1970 model Triumph GT6 Mk2. Overdrive. Powder blue with black leather interior. In lovely original condition. Original hubcaps, upholstery, badges, bumpers etc. Recent body-off re spray and some welding. New water pump, exhaust manifold, alternator, clutch master cylinder, tyres all round. Carburettors rebuilt. Aftermarket shocks. HID headlights. Updated brakes. Drives well, engine very sweet. Gearbox excellent. V5 in my name.
A couple of issues hence price -
Overdrive not functional as solenoid needs replacing, new wiring installed but haven’t been able to remove the old solenoid (famously tricky) to replace.
Slight tick from rear shaft, would indicate UJ needs replacing soon. The respray (done before my ownership) is well applied but a little amateurish. Some very small bubbles of rust showing. Fuel pump takes a little time to prime. Only an issue when starting cold. I think probably only needs the in-line fuel filter replacing. Windscreen wiper spring stretched. Very little paperwork.
No swaps, No time wasters.
