Well-presented 2006 Jaguar 2. 5 V6 All Wheel Drive finished in black, paired with the desirable 5-speed manual gearbox.
The 2. 5 V6 engine is smooth, refined and pulls strongly, delivering the classic Jaguar driving feel with the added confidence of AWD. The car runs and drives well and feels solid on the road.
Clean example for its age with only light age-related marks as expected from a 2006 vehicle. Interior is tidy and comfortable, offering a premium cabin feel throughout.
First gear can occasionally feel slightly stiff, likely from limited recent use, but the gearbox operates as it should overall. With a little TLC this could be an excellent example.
Genuine reason for sale – leaving the country and simply don’t have the time to keep it.

I originally bought this Jaguar X-Type because I wanted a solid, manual AWD example with sensible mileage that I could gradually tidy up and keep long term. These are becoming harder to find in manual form, especially with the 2. 5 V6 and All Wheel Drive setup.
The car has covered just 85, 500 miles from new and has recently passed its MOT (valid until 14 August 2026). It passed without failure, with advisories typical for a vehicle of this age.
The most recent MOT (August 2025 at 82, 471 miles) noted some corrosion to inner sills, subframe and suspension components, plus minor wear to a rear suspension arm and a slight exhaust leak. Importantly, all were advisory only and noted as not significantly weakened. The car has only covered around 3, 000 miles since.
It starts, runs and drives well with the smooth V6 engine pulling strongly. I simply don’t have the time to carry out the cosmetic/ mechanical tidying I originally planned, and I’m now leaving the country, so it makes more sense for someone else to enjoy and improve it.
It’s a genuine, usable modern classic Jaguar that just needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to an excellent example.
