Qui mettiamo in vendita una Triumph Stag Convertibile del 1972.
Lo descriveremmo come un progetto praticabile in corsa. Nel complesso l'auto è in condizioni discrete, beneficiando di parecchi lavori eseguiti negli ultimi anni:
Engine strip down, new head gaskets, oil seals, timing chains etc.
Rifacimento motore, nuove guarnizioni della testata, guarnizioni dell'olio, catene di distribuzione, ecc.
Lumenition Electronic ignition.
Accensione elettronica Lumenition.
Mohair Hood.
Capote Mohair.
Transmission cooler.
Raffreddamento della trasmissione.
Rear shock absorbers.
Ammortizzatori posteriori.
Welding to boot floor / exhaust mount.

Stainless exhuast system - large bore sounds lovely.

Once warmed up the Stag drives lovely. Pulls nicely and the auto gearbox shifts as it should. Brakes work as they should and pull up nicely. The original V8 sounds fantastic through the stainless exhaust system with that glorious V8 burble.
Una volta a temperatura, la Stag va benissimo. Spinge bene e la trasmissione automatica passa marce come deve. I freni funzionano come dovrebbero e si fermano con rapidità. Il V8 originale suona fantastico attraverso l'impianto di scarico in acciaio inox, con quel glorioso borbore del V8.
The black interior is in lovely condition with no rips on the seats, the covers having been replaced a few years back, door cards and panels all good along with the carpets that were replaced a few years back also.
Gli interni neri sono in ottime condizioni, senza strappi sui sedili, le fodere sostituite qualche anno fa, cruscotti, pannelli e moquette anch'essi in ottime condizioni e sostituiti anch'essi qualche anno fa.
The dash is in good condition with the addition of an oil pressure gauge. All gauges seem to work as they should.
Il cruscotto è in buone condizioni con l'aggiunta di un manometro della pressione dell'olio. Tutte le lancette sembrano funzionare come dovrebbero.
The body has been repainted a good while ago and is showing signs of wear. Some scrapes and flaking areas along with some dents.
La carrozzeria è stata rifatta da tempo ed è visibile segni di usura. Alcune graffiature e screpolature insieme a qualche ammaccatura.
For an A1 example you will need to budget for a respray. But as a daily driver it polishes up OK.
Per un esemplare A1 dovrai mettere in conto una riverniciatura. Ma come auto daily driver si presenta bene lucida.
Chrome is good.
Le cromature sono buone.
Has an immobiliser fitted.

Wheels are showing signs of corrosion in places, but the tyres have hardly covered any miles id say and are period Michelin MXV all round
Le ruote mostrano segni di corrosione in alcuni punti, ma gli pneumatici hanno percorso pochissimi chilometri e sono Michelin MXV d'epoca su tutto l'auto.
The hood has been replaced in the past with a good Mohair cover in black and looks smart. The rear catch needs some adjustment however as is a bit of a struggle to close correctly.
La capote in mohair nero è stata sostituita in passato ed è in buone condizioni e ha un aspetto elegante. Tuttavia il gancio posteriore necessita di un po' di regolazione poiché è un po' difficile chiuderlo correttamente.
All in all a good basis for a rolling restoration / improving as you go Triumph Stag.
In sintesi una buona base per una restauro a rolling / miglioramenti progressivi, Triumph Stag.
