Recent History
We acquired the vehicle from a couple of enthusiasts who had cherished it since purchasing from Colchester Toyota. They ordered it with the Chrome Pack, heated seats, and a TTE exhaust system. They maintained the vehicle as needed at the supplying dealer, and there is a complete documented history, including the original bill of sale and brochures. I have had the car serviced by a local Toyota specialist; however, we have only driven a few hundred miles in it since acquiring it, taking trips to the coast on pleasant sunny days over the past few years.
Interior
The seats are in impeccable condition, as anticipated at this mileage, and due to being stored indoors throughout its entire life, it has preserved all of its original luster. The leather has been consistently cleaned and treated with Gliptone products to maintain its excellent condition and features nice oginal Toyota overmats.
Exterior
The factory Chilli Red paintwork, which is entirely original, shines beautifully. You will immediately notice the clarity of the headlights and the absence of fading on the door mirrors and handles, which typically suffer from significant fading when exposed to UV rays. There are a few minor marks here and there but nothing that detracts from the look of the car. The underside is nearly spotless, as depicted in the photos and I gave it a lanoguard treatment during my first year of ownership to keep it in nice condition. The engine bay is also in lovely original condition. The soft top is in excellent order, again due to the car being stored indoors, and I have cleaned and protected it with both cleaner and conditioner regularly during my ownership. The wheels are in great shape and still feature the originally fitted Bridgestone Potenza rubber !

Sadly we are not really using it enough and it truly deserves to be driven and appreciated; it is a lovely example, and there are very few original MR2s remaining in such condition today. This is likely as close as one can get to experiencing the driving of one of these cars as it was when new and if you are considering a nice MR2 for the summer then you should give this one serious consideration.
I am only a mile from J9 of the M20 or if you travel by train I am happy to pick you from Ashford International Station which is only a mile or so too !
