This is a genuine single-owner vehicle, originally purchased brand new from Toyota by my grandfather. It has been cherished from day one and maintained regardless of cost. The car has benefitted from annual main dealer servicing throughout his ownership, has never failed an MOT, and has never been involved in any serious accidents or sustained significant damage. It has also been garage-kept for the entirety of its life.
Having covered just 54, 500 miles, the condition reflects the care it has received. The interior, in particular, presents beautifully — the rear seats have seen minimal use and remain in near-new condition. The car drives exactly as one would hope from a well-maintained Camry: smooth, refined and supremely comfortable.
In around 2020, my grandfather was sadly deemed unfit to continue driving. The vehicle was then placed into careful storage, declared SORN, kept connected to a trickle charger, and run up to temperature regularly. Each year it was collected by a local garage, MOT’d and serviced using trade plates to ensure it remained mechanically sound. During this period it received a new battery, a new fuel pump, and routine maintenance as required.
I inherited the car earlier this year (the V5 remains in my grandfather’s name to preserve its single-owner status). Naturally, I was initially cautious about how it would perform after limited use over several years. However, after checking over the essentials, I drove it 200 miles home without issue and have since covered approximately another 800 completely faultless miles. It has proven exactly why these cars have such a strong reputation for durability and refinement.
The only blemish worth noting is a small scuff on the rear right corner, likely caused by a cyclist while the car was parked on the road. It is slightly through the paint in one small area and will not polish out entirely, though it is not especially noticeable unless viewed up close. Rectification would be straightforward and relatively inexpensive should the next owner wish to return the car to near-perfect cosmetic condition.
Overall, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, meticulously maintained and highly original Camry with a wonderful ownership history and every single piece of paperwork and documentation available in a folder.
