Triumph Bonneville 650 1961
This Bonneville has been with its current owner for circa 20 years.
It was built from parts and is not a matching numbers machine . It is however a faithful reproduction of that classic motorcycle including a genuine Bonneville engine and what is believed to be a Tiger 110 frame .
As part of the build it underwent a complete restoration and mechanical overhaul by professionals and has covered only 757 miles since the work was completed. It has been little used since but lightly re commissioned over the last few months
It is an easy starter , the engine is free from smoke or rattles , the clutch and brakes work well and the gear box selects . The Bike has not been road tested. A new battery has been fitted
The paintwork is in first class order and would respond well to polishing . The chrome work has deteriorated slightly during its time in storage but is still respectable .
The Motorcycle appears every inch a Bonneville, its non matching numbers detract little from the machines aesthetics , however the sale price does reflect this
