1937 SS80 in showroom condition, fully restored mechanically and cosmetically. Please note that any apparent lack of shine on paint or chrome is due to WD40 applied for protection during winter storage in a heated garage. A matching numbers bike owned by me for the past 15 years, alongside other Broughs which I have owned for 35 years….. The machine has some interesting history as shown in the period photographs. Fitted with a light-weight Steib sports sidecar when new, I sourced and restored an identical chair shortly after buying the solo bike. The outfit has since has been used sparingly for BS club rallies and local runs.
A comprehensive history file comes with the bike, documenting its journey from a scrap dealer in the 1960’s to its current pristine condition. It starts easily and runs well, pulling the sidecar with ease, having the usual Brough seemingly limitless torque.
