Description
Inspired by the car from the Persuaders as driven by sir Roger Moore. We are proud to offer on behalf of the owner this 1970 Bahama Yellow Aston Martin DBSV8. Coming from longterm enthusiast ownership, being with the current owner since 2009.
Since acquiring the car it benefitted from extensive works to get it in the condition it currently is. Arriving as a project car. The list of works carried out over the following years on behalf of the owner entails amongst others a bare metal respray in the beautiful warm Bahama Yellow. During the works the car was converted to left hand drive specification for use on the continent. The engine was overhauled before being put back in the completely repainted engine bay. To improve reliability and fuel economy the engine benefits from a modern EFI conversion. Delivering over 300HP and 475Nm of torque, the car is an absolute joy to drive.
Other noteworthy upgrades are the upgraded suspension, fitting of a stainless steel exhaust system, complete overhaul of the brake system and fitment of new bumpers. Completed by the original black interior with matching grey wool headlining, it is possibly the best DBSV8 specification available. The journey of this car’s transformation has been extensively showcased in an article in the AMOC quarterly publication that will accompany the car. More pictures of the restorative works available on request.
Currently carrying a Dutch registration this car is ready for viewing on our premises by prior appointment.
