According to the car & Classic valuation tool, my car is valued somewhere between £6, 000. 00-£7, 500. 00 based on its current condition and mileage, (which you can check yourself if you wish). I think this valuation may be a bit optimistic, so I currently have it for sale at £3750. 00, which I think is a realistic price, so please be aware I will not accept any offers below this amount. You’re unlikely to ever find another in this condition.
This is my Cavalier 2. 0i GLS automatic 5 door hatchback.
One family owned from new, plus me. (4 owners in total).
Genuine 34, 400 miles from new (will increase with use).
Comprehensive service and maintenance history, and comes with the original bill of sale when new (the equivalent of £27, 000 in today’s money).
All of the owner’s handbooks present in the original wallet.
Recent engine & gearbox service, cam belt, water pump, main engine oil seal, serpentine belt.
MOT to 7/ 11/ 2026, with no advisories.
2. 0i 8 valve engine & 4 speed auto, with sport & winter modes, smooth gear changes and remarkably economical, it averaged 44mpg on a recent run to south Wales.
Being the GLS, it has brake discs all round, electric front windows, electric heated mirrors, PAS, front & rear head restraints, central locking, tilt & slide sunroof, height adjustable driver’s seat, digital clock, outside temp gauge (not accurate), electric aerial and Vauxhall mudflaps.
Original working radio cassette (lcd display doesn't work).
Original paintwork, dealer plates & wheel trims. In remarkable condition for a 32 year old car on top and underneath, not perfect, but excellent apart from a very small dent on the offside front wing (see last picture), and almost as new undamaged interior, complete with dealer car mats.
For sale, but I will consider a swap or part exchange with extra cash available for one of the following on my bucket list. Must be roadworthy, with current MOT if not exempt.
No projects or restorations considered.
