Quite possibly the lowest mileage Ford Fiesta in existence, this remarkable car has only covered 139 Miles !
The car was purchased by its first owner from Perrys Ford dealer in North Finchley for £9700 in 1992 ( according to the original bill of sale). Unfortunately the owner fell ill soon after purchasing the car and never had the opportunity to use it.
After his passing the car was registered to his daughter who had never learned to drive but could not bear to part with her fathers last new car, it stayed locked away in their garage for the next 23years, it would probably still be there had it not been for a house move. In 2018 it was decided now was the time to let the car go.
Since then the car has been with an avid Ford Fan who has absolutely pampered the car, it has been kept inside , regularly started but not driven. Reluctantly space has become an issue and now we are looking for its next custodian.
This car is just remarkable, sitting in the car takes you straight back to 1992 , the car is as it left the dealership, nothing is worn , every switch, steering wheel, gear knob , seats , everything feels like new . People mention the ‘new car smell’ well this car still has it .
Under the bonnet is the same , it’s immaculate, just as it was 34 years ago.
It’s still wearing it’s original Pirelli 2000 tyres, the Ford wheel trims which were notoriously brittle have survived in as new condition.
This car is a true collectors piece, it’s a time capsule and deserves to be preserved .
