Description
1994 Mini Cooper Monte Carlo Edition (John Cooper) – Excellent Condition
A rare opportunity to own a genuine 1994 Mini Cooper Monte Carlo Edition, one of approximately 200 UK cars produced to celebrate Mini’s Monte Carlo Rally heritage.
This example is presented in great condition and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. The car retains its distinctive Monte Carlo features and remains a very honest, usable classic that’s ready to be enjoyed.
The bodywork is in very good order with a strong overall appearance. Paintwork presents well, and the car shows nicely with no major issues. The underside and common Mini areas are in good condition for its age, with no obvious concerns. It starts, runs, and drives exactly as it should, with the 1275cc engine pulling well and the gearbox operating smoothly through all gears.
Inside, the cabin is clean and tidy, with the interior remaining in keeping with the car’s original character. It’s a great place to be and reflects the car’s careful ownership.
This Mini has been maintained and looked after, and it’s clear it hasn’t been neglected. Any work carried out has been done to keep the car in solid, usable condition rather than over-restored, which adds to its authenticity.
Overall, this is a very presentable example of a sought-after limited edition Mini. It’s ideal for someone looking for a usable classic that can be driven and enjoyed while still having strong collector appeal.

A great opportunity to acquire a desirable and appreciating classic Mini.
Viewings welcome. Serious enquiries only. I originally bought this Mini because I wanted something a bit more special than a standard classic, and the Monte Carlo Edition really stands out. It’s not just another Mini – it’s a genuine limited edition with real heritage behind it, and that’s something you feel every time you drive it.
What makes this car unique is the combination of rarity and usability. It has the character, charm and iconic look that everyone loves about classic Minis, but with the added appeal of being one of only a small number produced. It always gets attention, whether parked up or out on the road, and it’s a great conversation starter with people who know exactly what it is.
My favourite thing about it is how it drives – it’s light, responsive and feels properly connected to the road in a way modern cars just don’t. It puts a smile on your face even on short journeys. At the same time, it’s easy enough to use and enjoy regularly, not something that just sits in a garage.
It stands out because it’s an honest, well-kept example that hasn’t been messed around with, which is becoming harder to find. It’s the kind of car you can enjoy as it is, while also owning something that has real collector appeal and continues to gain interest.
I’ll be sad to see it go, but I’d like it to go to someone who appreciates what it is and will enjoy it as much as I have.
