For sale is my beautiful 1994 Classic Mini 35 Limited Edition. Produced to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Mini, this particular example has undergone a massive, ground-up restoration in 2022/ 23 and is ready to be driven and enjoyed by a new owner.
The Restoration (2022/ 23):
No expense was spared during the restoration process, practically rebuilding the car to future-proof. The works include:
Engine & Structural
• Engine: Fully rebored and rebuilt, powder-coated, and sprayed.
• Rear Subframe: Brand new, blasted, and powder-coated.
• Front Subframe: Brand new, blasted, and powder-coated.
• Engine Bay: Blasted, powder-coated, and painted.
• Electrics: New electrics.
Drivetrain & Braking
• Clutch: Fully rebuilt, including a new clutch arm and pins.
• Brakes: Comprehensive overhaul including new front callipers, new brake lines, and disks and pads.
• Exhaust: New exhaust system, including mounts and cat-back.
• Fuel & Cooling: New fuel pump and new water pump.
• Drivetrain: New CV joints.
Suspension & Steering
• Suspension: New shocks all around.
• Steering/ Hubs: New front wheel bearings and ball joints.
Exterior, Wheels & Trim
• Bodywork: New wheel arches and a new boot lid.
• Wheels: Brand new 12" Minilite alloys wrapped in new tyres.
• Chrome & Trim: New front grille, new front and rear bumpers, and new number plates.
• Ancillaries: New wiper motor.
Condition & Features:
• Exterior: Finished in Arizona featuring the correct Mini 35 decals.
• Interior: The original Jubilee-pattern.
• Drive: Thanks to the comprehensive mechanical rebuild, the 1275cc engine starts on the button, pulls strongly, and sounds fantastic. The gearbox is smooth with no crunches, and the new suspension/ steering components ensure it handles exactly as a classic Mini should.
History & Paperwork:
The car comes with a V5C in my name and a fresh, advisory-free MOT valid until April 2027. I have a comprehensive folder documenting the restoration, including invoices, receipts and photos.
This is a reluctant sale, but it is time for someone else to enjoy this piece of British motoring history. Selling due to having small children and the associated limited time that comes with it!This is my first car (that I bought from my mum!) and it has been loved for the 20 years I have owned it. It was my only car up until I had kids, and it comes with all of the associated fun and games that a classic mini brings!
This is a limited edition, with 160 left on the road. It underwent a full restoration in 2022/ 23 where I had the full intention of selling it. Then I fell back in love with it! But now is the time to pass it on to a new owner, who can dedicate the time to running it properly.
Prior to my mum owning it, it had one previous owner.
