Description

Absolutely stunning 1977 Laverda 3CL. Supplied and maintained by local Laverda specialist. I bought the bike in 2018 from M&S Motorcycles Westgate Road, Newcastle and have had it annually serviced and maintained there ever since (all documentation available).

The bike runs perfectly, it's unlikely you'll find a better example.

I've loved owning the bike and it is with a heavy heart I've decided to hang up my helmet. The bike is a classic in every sense. Laverda chose all of the best parts from available manufactures and paired them with a superb engine and frame. Laverda 1000's were simply the best bike you could buy in 1977. I always wanted one but as a young man could not afford one. Seven years ago I saw this bike and thought I need to have that. Once I rode it I realised what all the fuss was about. To this day it pulls like a train, brakes like a modern bike (twin disc Brembo's on the front) and handles immaculately. Full documented history and provenance is available with the bike.
I believe the bike spent much of it's early life in sunny Spain and was imported by M&S Motorcycles. This probably accounts for it's remarkable condition.
