I am selling this bike for genuine reasons or I would be keeping it, however unfortunately my health has deteriorated and not in a position to ride it. I have had an absolute ball riding it.
Bike is absolutely tour ready and not long back from a European trip in August 2025 as a last tour for me and completed just over 2500 miles on that tour and never missed a beat.
This is like a brand new bike just 20 years old and lovely to ride. Meticulously checked and replaced the following.
The bike has had a basically full rear end strip down and rebuilt, bolts washers and seals all checked and replaced as necessary.
Rear suspension removed and sent to T Tech Suspension for refurbishment including new spring, due to failing on MOT. Suspension front and rear setup by Bob Grant Racing in fife.
The below was all conducted at 49563 by myself, this bike did not come with full BMW service when I got it, it was slightly neglected and required work when I bought it.
Oil, oil filter and air filter changed.
Gearbox Drained, Flushed and refilled, all seals checked and satisfactory.
Shaft checked, cleaned and molykoted, this ended up having swing arm replacement from motorworks, bearings and pivots all changed, both gaters changed to red while stripped down.
Final drive flushed and changed, seals all checked and satisfactory.
Rear brake disc and pads changed, caliper rebuilt as found to be siezed and seals replaced, new brake bleed point changed and rear brake fluid changed
Front brakes all checked and all in working order, with still plenty of meat on the pads and discs in good condition.
Tyres - Metzeler Tourance Trail Tyres installed just prior to European trip approx 3000miles on them
New modern mirrors added
New battery fitted
Upgraded to new led rear light and cover from motorworks
New auxiliary belt fitted
Rider and pillion have heated seat
Led Auxillary lights with newly fitted bulbs before european trip and led yellow auxiliary lights to help be more visible
HID Headlight and high beam
Additional high beam bar installed
All additional electronic equipment have been installed via 4 way fuse 12v waterproof fuse to ensure no battery drainage.
Sebring Exhaust
Denali sound bomb mini fitted
New front beak installed due to the original being broken
Comes with tank bag
3 silver metal expedition panniers key coded to the bike
